When to perform Sahasra Chandra darshan pooja and puja period calculation

We should understand lunar or synodic months. It is a name for the cycle of the Moon’s phases. The time required by the moon to make one complete revolution around the earth is a synodic month. The mean period between two successive new moons is 29.53059 days. Therefore the duration is approximately 29 days, 12 hours, 44 minutes, 3 seconds.
