Badhakesh Grah Parihara: 12 Lagnas (ascendants) are divided into three categories.

  • 1 Char Lagna (Movable).
  • 2 Sthira Lagna (Fixed).
  • 3 Dwiswabhav lagna (dual).

For Movable Lagna 11th house is Badhak Sthan. 9th house is Badhak Sthan for fixed Lagna. 7th house is Badhak Sthan for dual Lagna. Above Badhak houses are in order. For Example Mesha (Aries)- Chara Lagna. Vrashabha (Taurus)- Sthira lagna, Mithuna(Gemini)-Dwiswabhav Lagna. For Mesha Rashi (Aries) 11th house Lord is Shani (Saturn). So Shani (Saturn) Grah is Badhakesh. Due to this during Shani Dasha Bhukti one will have bad effects on his/her horoscope.

    In another example let us consider Vrashabh( Taurus). 7th house Lord for Vrashabh is Kuja. So during Kuja Dasha Bhukti, one will have bad effects on his/her horoscope.
